Of course they are more of a credit risk now - their revenue is about to go off a cliff. Thanks, I have not read it, but am pretty familiar with the role rating agencies played in the sub-prime mess. I am not defending them in any way, but at the ...
EU Proposes Rating Agencies Can Be Sued
- fierceman commented Nov 15, 2011
Why couldn't ratings agencies be sued? However, if you want to sue them, you have to make a case. Just saying that you lost money because they published an opinion, which their entire business is based on, is not a case that would fly in any court.

And Obama is a handsome man, if you like trolls. Not to mention him being jealous that his wife looks like the Kraken. I guess mythical creatures attract each other. In any case, who really cares? There are a 1000 things to attack Obama for, and a ...

Jim Rogers says Greek Bailout may be Prelude to a Collapse of the Euro Zone

His life didn't begin when he met Soros. I agree that the EUR may still have a leg up, I just don't see how that has anything to do with your attack on Jim Rogers. The man is a legend in more ways than one, so for some random dude on FF to insult ...

This "so called expert" has made billions from investing. He is not just some chump Wall St. analyst. He is still calling for the collapse of USD - he just thinks EUR is first in line. He has been long agricultural (and other) commodities for a ...

It means the Greek people won't have a say in their own future, which will instead be decided by the wise and benevolent institutions of Germany, France and the IMF.

The epic failure of the "protectionist" economic policies enacted by post-WWI industrialized nations, including competitive devaluation, was instrumental in Adolf Hitler's rise to power.

I'm talking about the 1930s actually. I don't believe the Plaza Accord was nearly as serious since it was more of a gang-bang than a circle-jerk. As far as the US coming off the gold standard, it's hard to say, but there is reason to believe that we ...
