[/quote] Of course it isn't. That's why we play the probabilities. (And why we wish each other luck...)

Orly replied Feb 20, 2014Errrmmm.. Maybe not so much this time. Global stocks are about ready to roll over here, starting with the Nikkei. The H4 is showing an incomplete zigzag on the superZUPer and that will close the downside triangle before a move higher. The thing is, ...

Orly replied Feb 13, 2014Absolutely. Bought at the Weekly Pivot @~101.857. A bit of a drawdown but back running hot, straight and normal. My (very optimistic...) upside target is the 10DMA @~ 103.1x. Best of luck to you!

Orly replied Feb 13, 2014Not exactly. The drop has been "fundamental." Risk assets, such as stocks, have been sold off heavily, sending the pair down. The bounce we will get today is "technical" because it is bouncing off of the Weekly Pivot and a major Fibonacci level.

Orly replied Feb 13, 2014No. It is the general "risk-off" atmosphere that will soon be reversed when the US releases retail sales figures and unemployment claims. The U/J has bounced off the Weekly Pivot, which will act as very strong support for the rest of the trading ...

Orly replied Feb 9, 2014I generally trade the Weekly Pivots because the Daily Pivots are sometimes kinda squirrelly...meaning sometimes they at least make a speed bump but a lot of times they don't. With the Weekly Pivot, there's almost always at least a pause and a bump ...

Orly replied Feb 9, 2014The longs are seriously losing traction here. Abe's guy wins, Nikkei ramping up but... U/J just sitting there, treading water. And from the looks of it, the legs are getting tired.

Orly replied Jan 31, 2014What we need to see is a decoupling of U/J from Euro. Deflation in the Eurozone means printing more Euros to bail out the banks, as well as some odd interest rate moves from Mario Draghi. That is going to be Euro negative, which should be dollar ...

Orly replied Jan 26, 2014Draghi stated that we should expect rates to stay this low, "or lower," for an extended period of time. A review of European banks shows a shortfall in the stress tests of $115B. Doing the math, one should expect the Euro to sell off at the start of ...

Orly replied Jan 23, 2014You gotta take the drawdowns but... man alive. I wasn't expecting that. I had to take some partial closes on my longs but... look what happened on the H4 the last time U/J hit this level.

Orly replied Jan 21, 2014I'm thinking the Chinese had to inject $46B (?) into their money markets this morning and equity markets got the heebie-jeebies because of ghosts of Lehman. Now, they have realised that there's just more punch in the punchbowl and will prolly carry ...
