I would trade the middle. No need to wait for price to escape the range. The more it stays there, the more money you'll make.

I successfully navigated BTCUSD spike using this method. I didn't look at charts except to marvel at what's going on. Max drawdown was less than what I gained.

I also use multiples of ATR for tp and position sizing, and I have used bollinger bands to time entries. Poor luck so far, probably need bigger bank and more patience. Looking forward to your posts (and threads, when you become a member).
