Not exactly. Slippage can occur at the entry and exit of a trade. You can get positive slippage (e.g. the trade exit is executed at a better price than the TP price requested). I have yet to see a positive spread

My suggestion would be to trade the higher timeframes - for example, H4 and above - where one trades less often (i.e. less commissions) and the commission is a smaller percent of pip/$ gains.
