tradeigel replied Aug 18, 2006Hi Hendrick, thank you very much for still putting so much effort into Phoenix and including me into the little private group.
I'll PM you my email address. alsup: Alright. Thanks for apologizing

tradeigel replied Aug 17, 2006Maybe it was a little to harsh. i was just annoyed by alsup's comments. Why would you post like 20 unnecessary quotation marks and ask if Phoenix is history?! Well, I guess it's not since we're still posting, right? And I think some other guy ...

tradeigel replied Jul 25, 2006Well, I am trading EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, EUR/CHF using my own time filter (that is, instead of the last TIMEUNTIL=21, I use TIMEUNTIL=22). Backtesting shows that the timefilter is very important.

tradeigel replied Jul 25, 2006Alright Yardie, that's probably gonna do it. If you want you can post your settings, too so we can look if everything's alright.
And please don't become desperate. BTW guys, Phoenix is doing awesome right now...Started a new demo with only ...Phoenix is here!

tradeigel replied Jul 24, 2006Yeah, it's better to use the time settings. However, the pretty much best settings are always the most recent one which were issued together with the EA by Hendrick. I would test it anyways and get your own understanding of the best settings ...

tradeigel replied Jul 20, 2006WOW! That looks really nice. Let's check settings... You aren't using these crazy 300/30 settings, are you? And how can you have made +500 on EACH open trade?! PS: Does anybody have experience with the Vegas methods and/or closing trading according ...

tradeigel replied Jul 19, 2006Man, Jake you're doing pretty awesome? What is your strategy based on? Is it a project here @ FF? So, you're using MIG. I saw you wrote alot of bad comments about requotes. I also read they're the "king of requoting" @ forexbastards.com. Is it ...

tradeigel replied Jul 19, 2006well...what a day...booked a few wins this morning. Also, Phoenix did good during the CPI announcement. However, later right after Bernanke's speech, there was one awesome win (60 Pips) and two losses (2x 50 Pips). This time a really tight S/L would ...

tradeigel replied Jul 18, 2006As far as I know, that's not gonna work. All of us here are using MetaTrader ( url I think). So if you don't wanna convert Phoenix to Esignal, I guess, you have to use MT. @BenQ: Well, the RoundLot function is for rounding to miniLots i.e. 0.25 is ...

tradeigel replied Jul 18, 2006hey Hendrick, like Yardie and BenQ GPB/USD sucked for me, today. I guess the safety doesn't work in Phoenix yet, shouldn't the new MA-thing prevent Phoenix from trading against such a BIG trend? However, except for GBP/USD Phoenix did a great job ...

tradeigel replied Jul 18, 2006No, that's alright. Hendrick is using Trailingsstop - this moves the S/L as you go deeper in profit. So his T/P was @ 60 Pips profit right from the beginning and his S/L was moved to lock in the profit. Well, but I guess you know what a TrailingStop ...
