It's a very good system. I traded it for about a month. It's a monster to manage though. You have to watch it day and night and you're constantly posting orders.

I forgot to reply to what you said about not trading into large ranges. I agree. It seems to do better when the range is small.

Nicotina has indicated he does not adjust his entrance prices or SL with the spread. Having a 12 pip spread will handicap you in two ways. Price has to move against you a shorter distance to stop you out and it has to move in your favor farther to ...

The data feeds from different brokers will vary a few pips. I make sure I'm looking at the right time frame and use my broker's highs and lows.

The other system may be better. It showed a smoother equity curve on a backtest. Having said that, I wouldn't judge a system on the basis of one day or one week. Nicotina's method has shown consistent profits in real trading.

Yesterday was messed up. If you go back on a chart and look, days where there is a very large range in the time window rarely make a profit. Nicotina said to trade with small lots when he put the numbers up because of that.

Can you give us any more details? What is your SL? What is the trend indicator? Are you using Nicotina's reentry rules?

I've tracked it. I believe it's +100 for the week. If Autotrade-fx is here he may have better figures. EDIT- I just checked- autotrade's method looks like +216 for the week. That's very good, unless I made a mistake. Ok. One more correction- It's up ...
