I think you're wasting your time with the EA. I tried it a couple of nights. The first night, it appeared to open the orders at the appropriate times, but it opened them 9 or 10 pips above the trigger. The next night it didn't open anything.

It's 2200 - 0559 GMT. Nicotina is a great guy and an excellent trader. He has problems with English is the reason he doesn't answer many questions.

I agree. I don't understand how using a cross of RSI and ATR accomplishes anything. Rising ATR indicates lengthening candles. That would have the same effect on a short as it would a long trade, whatever that effect may be, it would apply equally to ...

You can set your chart up on 15M and go back and manually look to see the results. You can go back for several months. It takes a while, but that is the only backtest that means anything.

You would place them at 9PM. EST is -5GMT. The easy way to not get confused is to change your computer time to GMT.

Nicotina's GBP/USD system= +20 pips. OOPS- If you had a spread of =>4 pips, it went -40.

Trading forex, you have to think in GMT terms a lot of the time. I have set up my computer time to GMT. It makes it less confusing and easier to keep up with.

That;s because IBFX doesn't show the 2200 candle. It start's it's data feed, on Sunday, at 2300.

That's correct. He only took the hi/lo from the last few hours- 2200 - 0159 GMT.

I just pulled up an Alpari demo. Alpari is set for GMT+1. It's first hourly candle when it started Sunday was marked 0000- That was really 2300GMT. They didn't provide the candle for 2200GMT. It had a low around 229.52. Where you get the Buy of ...
