Ok I'll dumb it down some more for you. Let's say some smart punters get their shorts in and manage to make money of the decline in value of the stock. But what you are failing to consider is that there is only a few handful of people who shorted ...

There is no person C or D. In that simple example, it was a two person economy that showed how decline in value of an asset can lead to loss of wealth/money. It is easy enough to scale that example to any number of players in the economy. Whether ...

You can have capital gain and you can have capital loss too. In 1999 gold was worth ~US200/ounce. It rose to ~US1800 in 2002-03. That was capital gain. Then it started falling in value all the way down to ~US400 by 2006. That was capital loss. ...

Money is removed from the economy all the time. You buy shares/commodities/property etc and if their value drops then that amount of money has been removed from the economy. Why do you think the bondholders of PIGS debt are so visceral about ...

I am curious why would you sell at 4285 if the price actually gets there, given that we have a strong intraday uptrend at the moment? My natural instinct would be to buy if the price gets back to 4285 but obviously your logic is different.

Aus Jobs report came out today. It was pretty bad, nearly 50000 jobs lost. The Reserve Bank is now almost guaranteed not to raise interest rates at their next meet. I think it's pretty safe to say the monies will be leaving the AUD today.

I believe the fundamentals are in place to take this down a lot further. Mostly Greece that has me bearish on the Euro. I just don't see how Greece can avoid either a default or a restructure (aka haircut for the bondholders). Pushing back the ...

- Bounce off support at 432x would bring 438x back into play with 440x a good possibility. - Punch through 432x and I have 428x as TP. Good luck all. @PTL can you post your levels pls?

Watching for support at 434x. If the sellers are unable to punch through, a 20 pip scalp long will do nicely I reckon.

I am still learning a lot about forex fundamentals but I fail to see why Asia would "want" to buy this dip. There is no compelling reason that I can think off for them to "want" it. What is your thinking behind this statement?
