I’m really baffled by the moves in silver lately. Even when gold prices are running up quickly silver will fall. If this keeps up we will see 100x xau/xag ratio before too long.

Dodged a bullet huh? That’s sometimes the benefit of not staying in the market too long. I would recommend small time frames for anyone going short gold for the foreseeable future.

Silver seems like it would be much more risky. Higher broker spreads and (other than the insanity this week) it is more volatile than gold. Only one way to know for sure though is by trying it.
