He's basically using one of J16 key concepts, but without PA. He sold the flip of previous support to resistance in this case - a ppz. Most of us would wait for PA confirmation to enter at these points, via PB or some other pattern/concept.

Great area to watch on GBPNZD....weekly LCS, BRN 1.9000, and deep (78.6 fib retracement) Also space above if the PPZ acts as support and below if the PPZ breaks down and becomes resistance.
