Well I got 115.59 for a high on IBFX so I'll say target reached at 13:57 PM EST 1/19/06. I have found that many times price will come within 1 or 2 pips of my targets on the first sometimes second try. It usually eventually keeps trying until it ...

No, that is just a coincidense. My method for picking the targets is proprietary. I do sometimes use Fibs. for entry purposes. But, my method for locating the targets really has nothing to do the traditional indicators or techniques. Thanks; JohnFX

The fact that USDJPY hasn't gone much below 115.00 despite the pretty good upmove of EURUSD to my 1.2118 target is encouraging that the USDJPY should reach the 115.60 target sometime today, hopefully. Thanks; JohnFX

1/19/2006 9:40 AM EST Right now the market is in chop "garbage" mode. Very difficult to trade this type of condition. Targets still open: USDJPY 115.60 (I made a couple mistakes in previous posts and said 115.65) EURUSD 1.2118 JohnFX

1/19/06 12:05 AM EST Ok this is what I see probably happening. Another price magnet has been created at 1.2089 for EURUSD and still the one at 1.2118. Currently EURUSD is around 1.2099. The most likely move is to continue up to 1.2118 then come back ...

Mike; If you have FXCM's platform (I do, but I don't like FXCM and don't use them for trading) the pip values are shown for all the pairs if you have the Dealing Rates Window set to "Standard" and not "Advanced" under "Look & Feel". The values are ...

Simon; Just a thought. This interest thing really isn't something I'm actively racking my brain about. You may want to check out my thread. That's where my efforts are being concentrated. By the way, IBFX has a 3 pip spread for usdjpy and FXDD has a ...

As you can see USDJPY is not "happy" because it didn't hit 115.15 "exactly", hence another attempt and sharp move down. 1/18/06 8:18 PM EST JohnFX

That's something I'm still trying to perfect. I know I can call price point targets with very high accuracy. Still working on the entry and stop combo. Since my accuracy is so high I'm inclined to use a stop twice my target size. Example: 20 pip ...
