Demo on the Nav is usually fine. Demo on MetaTrader is kinda sketchy sometimes. Live environments of both work perfectly.

If you have been to one of their courses on MetaTrader, MetaTrader reporting is not FIFO compliant. Therefore, statement reporting is shut off (Trade tab still exists and you can still do runs, but you get true statements that are accurate with FIFO ...

I run both and the quotes are always identical. It comes from the same feed, so I don't know how they would be different.

I trade some stuff on the demo account daily to test new EAs. While the live accounts dropped to $2.95 per 100,000 USD over the weekend, the Demo accounts did not. They were still $5.00 yesterday when you posted. Looking at my Demo at the moment, ...

Their demo environment works fine, but demo doesn't replicate real-world executions anyway. If you already know your EA works at another broker and can run it on MB for a day in Demo, you know you are good to go. Meanwhile, how in the world does ...

If you actually would use a company like JadeFX, not sure there's much else to say for you. I think I'll stick with the firm that has the long-term background and reputation than someone named after a green rock.

Wow, great news Justin. I may just have to move more funds into my account with you. Everything else has always been perfect! Unexpected timing, I figured with Meta out finally, you guys would keep your rates up since you have the best remaining US ...

This may be the funniest post I've seen yet on these boards. Are you saying that ACM doesn't use outside banks (question 1) and that that is a good thing (question 2)?

I don't understand all of the issues you guys are talking about in demo. I've had a demo for four months. I have seen it go down from time to time and when that happens it has messed up a couple of orders, but nothing unmanageable like what you ...

The quote thing is a separate issue. Anyone can show you identical quotes. The issue lies in the process of EXECUTION. If these brokers were underhanded, what they would do with a DEMO environment is just give you the fill at the ask each time you ...

BULLSHIT yourself. Prices can be the same, but that doesn't create an execution. If you think that there is a way to replicate the complexity of order routing between hundreds or even thousands of participants, no one can help you. Of course you can ...

I never understand why people put so much faith in Demo. No real execution is occurring in a Demo environment, so no matter what, it isn't any standard of measurement of a live environment...for any broker. On a deal desk, of course they are going ...

I'm a little confused by this comment. Everything in FOREX is proportional. You can open an account with $400 or $10,000. Just because leverage is 100 to 1 available doesn't mean that you have to use your whole account times 100 in a trade. Changing ...
