It looks really nice, a lot better than the 5 or 6 previous boxes.

Yet an other question — I have 1800$ on a mini account. Applying an average risk per trade of 3%, I would risk about 60$ per trade. My surprise was that I couldn't even open two such trades simultaneously. i don't understand why. 60$ is ...

Yes I've also noticed them afterwards. Well I'll stop posting until I've read everything and also finished the practice week.

It looks like a good idea! And you're right with your answer. I don't want to add additional problems to this breakout system, but there is no pullback without a breakout and that's only an additional idea to confirm a breakout. We can enter on the ...

Thanky you for your answer ForexHard! For me the most difficult part is how to enter after the breakout of the box. At first the advice was to enter on the close of the second bar closing through the buffer line. And as you wrote above, we could ...

Really great information what you've written here Forexhard! I going on reading the thread and what I could notice is that the setting of the parameter is really key to this system. I've noticed that the breakouts look much better if we increase the ...

I'm testing this methodology but I have many losses and I'm far from trading it profitably. When it goes well I win 25 pips and when it goes wrong, I'm losing at least 37 pips. Only to check, I visually backtested the strategy since the 23th of May ...

dryclean, what did you do with the losing trade before? There was first a long entry, but price went then back down through the bottom of the box triggering a stoploss. I made 25 pips on the second trade, but I've lost more than 37 on the first one.

A little change to my indicator. To draw the support and resistance level, we wait for the sinewave indicator lines to cross. Then to draw a support level we wait for a higher high. On the previous version, I was drawing the support at the low of ...
