Hmm.. are you able to modify the EA options once it's received its first tick (and shows the success rates etc)? If you choose to release the source code that would be very generous of you! It would be interesting to see how you've coded the ...

RR I'm wondering if you modified the EA after posting it here initially, and if perhaps the updates have somehow broken it? Or are you trading yourself with exactly the same EA that is in the first post?

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz, 4 GB DDR2 RAM. It doesn't seem to be a resource issue.. the backtest is extremely fast. It just seems to be unresponsive after the first tick comes through.

It seems to happen all the time to mine. Like only maybe 1 time out of 10 does it actually let me enter the properties of the EA. :/ Edit: Actually, I can only enter EA properties before a new tick has come through. Once a tick comes through the EA ...

I'm having the exact same issue. Tried on a couple of different brokers, on two different PCs. I get no redraw when the high/lows are exceeded and I cannot modify the EA's properties once it's loaded. I actually think that the EA might be crashing.. ...

I see.. and other than trade overlap nothing else? I still don't see how that could reduce an average of around 400 trades per week on GBPUSD (by the settings I extrapolated) down to only 4? I mean, the daily range on the cable is somewhere between ...

I installed FxPro's MT4 demo in order to get as close as possible.. but I can't seem to quite replicate your numbers
I've got a 54.4% counter success ratio though.. That's on the equivalent of 2 months worth of bars on M1, default initial range, ...Old Dog with New Tricks

I had this running all week on some settings which actually seem quite similar to what I can ascertain yours are, however it didn't take any trades. I think that's because I had WinPercent & MinimumSuccess set to something. Just trying to ...

Mm interesting! You seem to only post videos & pictures of the M15 chart for analysis purposes though? I'm also wondering - in these examples - url or url - those S&R lines are drawn manually (I'm guessing), and the H/L's of M5/M15/H1/H4 aren't ...

In all seriousness though, thank you for your extensive reply. I've read over it a few times and it's certainly helped solidify a few things in my mind and I'm sure it will help others as well. However it has made me wonder about a few ...pipware.com

Colours of bars in a chart are broker-dependent and nothing to do with strat's dashboard. Sometimes brokers have different price feeds. That's probably why you're seeing a difference.

I'm actually not so sure I agree with that statement. After coding a large number of EAs to trade numerous systems as described here, I'm of the opinion that most "systems" are actually just complex ways of trading at a break-even level (minus the ...

It does help, thank you! I'll probably stick to monitoring EU & GU for now from the European open onwards and EJ before that. When I get more confident I guess I'll see what I can do otherwise

Hey Sailorx, I've been trading your strategy for the past couple of weeks with good success. I'm just wondering if you can clarify what you mean by pyramidal lots. Do you open 3 separate trades of equal lot size then aim for the TP's you have ...
