I notice in this video that Sonic doesn't recommend adding more scout trades if in the red but notice a lot of charts on here people are doing this, is there a reason or is it just based on experience? Cheers

I have been checking Oandas volume against other in the thread on recent charts and they are not much different, if you are not sure try some other brokers on demo accounts to check against, Alpari UK have ECN on very small deposit but the spreads ...

Have you read all the info and PDF's from page one, there is a lot to read, I suggest you look at that first and all the examples provided, then look through the thread at various charts people have posted, then it will all start to make sense.

Thats what I thought, I have been comparing it to other charts people had posted and looks similar, obvious differences but all brokers will show different volume.

If you look again here on the USDCHF there is actually a bounce up rather than a sell signal as indicated in MT4 image image

Could be a good counter signal, I have taken one on the USDCHF on a sell, looks the same as yours but opposite.
