As i was typing my response, it clicked and I misunderstood what hedging was....im still new to this.....thanks again dial.....I thoght hedging was for ex: short eur/usd and long gpb/usd....

no problem, go to dailyfx and look at the correlation between between usd/chf and eur/usd on a chart overlay.......the usd/chf is more volatile and allows you to pick up a few extra pips. When the wma's cross up enter a long on the eur/usd and short ...

1h, 4h and daily....and hedge it with usd/chf....I wake up at 6am to get ready for work and look for crosses and other trend indicators, then set set my trades, monitor the mkt with dailyfx...

This a great system, been using it on my demo and avg. almost 45-60 pips a day, while working a 9-5 job.....thanks sidus!!!

for me the strength of the trend tells me how long I should stay in it(i confirm it on 1hr, 4hr, and daily charts...). Also, the amount of profit you obtain plays a role too. You don't need to get every last pip....hope this helps...

im a noob to fx but have been trading for stock for about a year.....I prefer hedging; it allows me to profit (for the most part) no matter which way the market turns, but its risky.....:-)

I have too....thats the only reason i didn't use oanda was b/c of the java platform. I ended up using fxsol with meta trader for charting....

your right, It made sense when i thought about it, but thinking about now (im at werk btw...lol), it does not....I guess splitting it up between the two gave me a sense of security margin wise, but either way you look at it, it's the same ...

Pretty much to amplify my return...If you go to dailyfx and put both currencies on the same chart (1h, 4h, monthly), it is pretty much the same graph......mrgreen posted this site where i picked up some more info on it.... ...
