I'm coming from equities, and they don't mean much there either. If a stock is overbought, and there is still demand, then it's going up regardless of how overbought it is... I personally find channels, S/R, regression, pivots, and stacked MAs best ...

Indicators are garbage IMO. S/R, Pivots, Fibo, are all that matters... One of the hardest lessons to learn is that an overbought or oversold market can continue being overbought or oversold till you are broke.
