If you can do micros, maybe do a partial close when in doubt and leave 0.01 lots open to run, that helped me a lot with patience looking at them 0.01 lot trades stay alive for days at times and only making a Euro or 2.

I think bars are really good, but i use candles as that's how i learnt to trade, only need the wicks on the candles for when i enter or exit a trade, the rest of the time im so zoomed out they look like bars anyways. EDIT: .... time im so zoomed out ...
