Understandable, I’d say if the prior candle has a large wick and you’re concerned about price moving against you , I’d set a trailing stop. But if your stop loss is relatively small or normal, if just let it go. You want to give the trade room to ...

Go look for yourself -> NAS100, 1HR, Half trend, Ichimoku Signal, and Bias bar color Just endlessly scroll back and look at the win to loss ratio. remove the headache of trying to milk each trade … if we are in profit on candle close - we exit.

I agree, but there’s a different type of edge here. the exit strategy is quite impactful in the longevity in a system. Lots of systems have great entry criteria, but struggle to exit profitably. i got inspiration from a well respected ichimoku ...

I’ve been doing a lot of testing without the HA Candles too, if you look at the last few trades on NAS100, you can see the last 10 trades won. Either type of candle is fine, just make sure it’s blue or bullish in a buy, and above half trend.

HTF FVG's with LTF price action = better entries, and easier to time. Reacting to PA in same time frame FVG's can be hard. for example, I'm using 5M FVG's with 1M Candles.
