I didn't. I just saw one like this posted somewhere and started playing with it. I added a EMA 21 and when price retraced to it, I entered. When bar changed colors, I exited.

Believe it or not, I use a very similiar system and it does work. The trick is to catch a market that is trending and take the pullbacks. In a flat market, you will not make any money.
