Xaron replied Apr 9, 2008Thanks so much Ramiro! Please don't feel stressed. Even if this EA would blow my account I'd take the responsibility for this of course. It's only a small account.

Xaron replied Apr 8, 2008Thanks.
No, I don't trade with all of my money. My leverage is about 10:1 per trade. My risk up to 3% per trade. If I'd use 100:1 I'd make 10% per day.
Just kidding, this would be too much for me. Regards - Xaron5Min Intraday System

Xaron replied Apr 8, 2008Hi Rama, had another problem today with the GBP/USD. The EA did open with 0.16 lots two times instead doubling up to 0.32... I've attached the EA log file. For me it looks like the last try to open a 0.16 lot order was ok, but the EA thought it ...

Xaron replied Apr 8, 2008Good morning. Got my 1% of balance today again.
Just a comment for the EUR/JPY and USD/JPY. I had some luck there to get out at BE. Why hadn't I closed the positions earlier? Because I looked at the 15m and both pairs stopped their up movement ...5Min Intraday System

Xaron replied Apr 8, 2008I don't care about it. I enter directly in the middle of the war zone and don't wait for the close of the candle. This might not work for everyone... I get out if the candle closes on the opposite side of the SMA 50. Regards - Xaron

Xaron replied Apr 7, 2008Just one addition: The key to my success is the stop loss. I often was right in the past but my stop loss was too tight. I use a fix stop of 30 pips now to give the trade some room to breath. BUT: That doesn't mean I let my position run to the stop. ...

Xaron replied Apr 7, 2008Thanks Kameleon!
I'm from Germany and trade mainly the early London session up to the beginning of the NY session. The asia session works sometimes, too but at this time I still sleep.

Xaron replied Apr 7, 2008Thanks! Yes, I'm very aggressive, try to pick up the early setups. I often look at the higher timeframes as well to avoid entering a long position below a resistance in the hourly chart for instance. Time will tell if I can continue that way.

Xaron replied Apr 6, 2008It depends. You just need volatility. Due to the higher stop (30 pips) you don't switch the position so often. I think the best would be to use a high volatile session like London combined with a support/resistance. Regards - Xaron

Xaron replied Apr 6, 2008No. No spikes so far. Even the spread widening is very rarely there. During NFP ok, but I get no spread widenings during less important news like at Oanda. The drawback against Oanda is that you get requotes more often... Regards - Xaron
