I think 1.30 is a hollow target level.....1.295 and 1.304 seem to be stronger support resistance lines. Pivot point.....hmm tough!

A roulette wheel is based on independent events. Each event has NO correlation to the last one therefore the odds are always the same and are not affected by the past. A currency pair is a variation of a random walk: Random Walk is a time series in ...

This pair is seriously trying the efforts of the market. Will the yen just die already? Let's let them print 10 trillion yen.......that'll bring it down a notch. What I don't understand is, what point did USDJPy start going down with Risk/On? It ...

We've failed twice now at resistance.........but we're back at 77.9, same place we were yesterday at this time........still can't break it. We are building higher lows though.

The guy before you who wrote 82-83 target in 2-3 months. I find his point not very relevant for discussion of this board since it's so far out and contingent upon so many things being changed.

Well it doesn't do any good to strengthen, but again, if you took this valid argument you'd be....5000 to 6000 Market Pips in the hole over the last 10 years. However we are at extreme levels and have put in some extreme lows below market currently ...

I wonder how long this malaise in this pair will last. When and what will be a catalyst for a breakout either way?

I think the unemployment number will be at expected or lower. Those larger GDP numbers are derived from mining and the prices of Gold/other mineral production sold at market rates, so when the prices go up, employment doesn't necessarily go up as ...

What's the logic behind USDJPY going DOWN when Risk is going up now? This pair WAS moving with risk, albeit a low correlation, now it's moving against? Anyone follow the complex logic here?

Aussie is back up! It's time to brainstorm ideas: Is this just a simple retrace up before an inevitable move down? Even if is/isn't......where will it stop, pause and drop back? Where will it continue? 1.03-30 looks like a strong level, if we clear ...

Yeah so Q2 revised to 1.4.......Exectation for Q3 was 1.2 Q3 was 1.0..........so it only got 71% of it's goal....or a drop of 30%, and yet...we rally. It's very interesting, wonder why the threshold was so low.
