It sounds like figuring out a way for phoenixsurf to function better would be the biggest benefit to this EA. I'll read about what exactly it does and see if I can come up with some ideas when I get home.

Very nice job! I think he said he had phoenixsurf disabled, not 100% certain though. If you go back a page or two he attached his settings.

The backtesting results that I get are never in the positive but from forward testing it I have stayed in profit.

I completely agree. It's not easy work and neither is answering a ton of questions.

If the martingale approach is implemented it should have the option to not use it. People kill accounts using that method.

HAT method also gave a lot of false entry points. It is more of a visual confirmation than an entry/exit signal.

LOL, thanks for the explanation. You actually answered my question before I asked it.

OK, thanks for the help. My local time is GMT -5. So I would just -7 from all of Hendricks times correct?

Does anybody know what GMT Strategybuilder MT4 is set at? Or would I use my local time zone?

Thanks for the reply. Do you think your results would improve if you set you trade time to 24hrs? Or do you think it would hinder the results?

Can you copy and paste what your settings are set at? Are you manually closing your trades? Just curious because it seems like your doing a lot better than everybody else.

No it's not live, it's a demo account. I don't leave my computer running while I'm not at home.

What are you using for your tp and sl? I set mine to what Yardie's is set at and when it's running, it's profitable, but I had to close my trades manually because I left the house for work.

Another thing I've noticed about this EA is that all of my trades have gone into profit at one time or another. You could actually profit by scalping the EA. By this I mean manually closing your trades once they go a little ways into profit. Do this ...

This is honestly the best answer to the question. Once I realized that I didn't have rules, I made them. After I made them I had to learn to STICK to them. This was the hardest part of trading to overcome for me. Great answer Scott!

When is the newer version going to be released? As of right now it seems that nobody is really in profit. I'm in profit from yesterday but I didn't have it running all day and I manually closed my trades, none hit TP.

So your using the cross of the 5 and 8 lma after the close above the t3 as your entry method and then the cross of the 5 and 8 lma as your exit? I might have completely misunderstood you.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm most likely going to use it for trend confirmation occasionally. For this it would work very well. I didn't have much luck using it as a way to trade but I also only used it for a very short while.
