Its so much easy to test with EA than manual visual testing. i visually scanned EU, GU, AU daily charts for last 3 years, i get around 700 pips each year. i take only first trade. if i have EA, then we can test for all signals.

optimization is during the specified period, so market can change every year. you will get different optimum results for each year. its difficult to get optimum settings for all market conditions...

H4 is the best timeframe..... Daily is also good but you dont get many signals... sometimes daily may have 3 white soldiers and H4 may have just started 3 black crows. in that case the trend may be reversing. i avoid those signals.
