I prefer 3am est. I found a new data source (MVP) that has the 4HR bar end at 3AM (used to be 2AM). Plus at 3AM, the European market has one additional bar under it's belt, and sometimes that's enough to "show it's hand"...

Trailing stops are a broker dependent question. I trade in Oanda which doesn't offer trailing stops, so I have to do it by hand. i.e. keep moving it in the direction of the market.
