I can't help but find it amusing that a system can be verified profitable just by taking a few trades that played out well.

Exceptions do not confirm the rule but they do not affect the rule either. One of my fuses must have been blown... what was I thinking then...
Ok, so here's one on the EUR/JPY that is a "real" exception. Angle 50ish.

If you go strictly by the method, it is a failed signal (I got stopped out of my short too. *mad*) The problem may have to do with the angle... depending on which line you use, it's either a 2 degree or 18 degree demand line that was broken.

I agree with the rationale, but am unsure over the exact numbers. It has been discussed that the break of a 45 degree line is most optimal; but as for the exact angle (or range) that will make a trade a bad one... this is something I am not able to ...

Terrible, isn't it? I was in that short too, but I managed to move my SL to break even before being stopped out.
