I've been making small profits off e/u GFT spread 1 pip, so its easy to make 10+ pips

I second that on GFT. But for most traders entry/exit are equally important. I never get the price I want on entrys except when it is a "pending order". Even then, It takes them a while to fill that order (pending to market) It seems like when an ...

Agreed. I've been waiting for a proper sell since the US session closed. I figured the Asian session would have brought at lest 100 pips sell, but nothing. Now I wait for the London session with hopes of a sell. I've had nothing but time on my side ...

P/A is sitting in an "no trade zone". Price, on 15m, is currently in an up trend retracement but I don' think it will hold. Be on the lookout for a sell after US fx open.

Trading one of the pairs like gbp against jpy? As opposed to, whole pairs against g/j. (ex. g/u & u/j traded against g/j)?

Ok. I See. I never trade g/u. When I started trading forex, I traded (of course) e/u & u/j. I was on another thread a week ago and the pundits were actively talking about strategies for g/u. And they made it sound like, trading g/u can produce just ...

Just curious ... why does everyone trade g/j as opposed to g/u. If you think about it ... it is trading the same (correlation, sp?) I think g/u would be a "safer" trade for newbies to work towards trading g/j and we never talk about g/u on this ...

I totally agree. I try and take full advantage of a holidays trades. Lots of fast ups and downs. Short term/scalping trades only

I vote for higher. 4hr chart is definitly in an up trend. This current down trend looks like a small retracement. Plan your trade. Watch you entry, tight stops/trailing stops, and wait for the retracement back down afterwards.

Catching those green pips, I see. Trading g/j off session ... one can cumulate lots of pips. I personally love those 50 pips or so short-term runs she produces. The only strategy that seems do-able when trading g/j is s/l and fibs. Look at a daily ...

P/A Daily & 4hr charts show down. P/A 1hr (entry maybe) show up. Wait for the 1hr chart to complete its divergence and then sell. Price may go to 139.00ish (or higher) before we see a sell signal.
