shiko replied Aug 29, 2009I guess the only logical solution would be to take partial loss as well on 1/2 position...
4H Box Breakout

shiko replied Aug 29, 2009But Ace wrote in his original rules that spread must be added with long position and not with short cause it is already included, no?
4H Box Breakout
-

shiko replied Aug 28, 2009I need no more back testing. The system is very good, but success 90% depends upon trader who trades the strategy. Turtles strategy was also with positive edge, however not all turtles followed rules and not all of them succeeded.

shiko replied Aug 27, 2009Yeah, whole 2002 just 413 pips. From those losing period I only can conclude that risking more than 1-2% of the capital per trade is highly dangerous even with such a good system. We should remember that after losing 50% we gotta trade back 100% to ...

shiko replied Aug 27, 2009OK, I have finished testing only January 2005. My idea actually was right. I mean taking partial profit and moving stop to BE. with original rules January loses would be 6%. adding partial taking profit at 1 box and then BE would reduce loss to 5%. ...
