I have a method where I hybrid scalping and short term. Take your position and after an acceptable gain, close out 1/2 your lots, move stop to entry, then let it ride. Nothing to lose at that point.

That's right. It's better to explain why a suggested position is being taken or being thought about rather than to just say it. True, many of us sometimes don't go to that extent, but we should. We all learn better that way.
