As an institutional trader, do you pay attention to Option expiries, eg. the strike price where most volume is at or perhaps just generally avoid trading pairs on the day their options are expiring?

Is anyone here an institutional trader?

I'm afraid I haven't a clue. Every now and again, I've noticed these headline news appearing on FF, with the power to cause spikes in price, or change direction altogether. Haven't figured out yet how to be forewarned about them.
