SimpleDev replied Dec 1, 2013I see UCAD as being in an awkward area.. 1.06 has been a tough resistance spot from July and September, so this is a bad area to be looking for longs. Also the volume for the past two days is about average, makes me think there is no big selling ...

SimpleDev replied Nov 28, 2013I already post a lot of my setups here minus SLs/TPs. I am not a trading service. I wouldn't expect the old timers to return, once you hit your stride posting gets old after a while. This thread isn't too bad, but you get people who come in arrogant ...

SimpleDev replied Nov 28, 2013There isn't a way to quantify VSA, basically you can't specifically specify what is ultra high volume and what is low volume. The best answer I can give you is that if you are unsure if the volume is high enough.. then it isn't. I think about 6 ...

SimpleDev replied Nov 28, 2013There is some supply coming in on GBP, but be careful. Lock in profit as soon as you can. Up trend, yellow bars show supply and volume is average at best, and notice the bar I marked in red. I don't see this as weakness, the close is on its high and ...

SimpleDev replied Nov 28, 2013Damn.. I was really looking forward to seeing how that hiddendev guy was going to respond to your post. I can answer this question but you have to realize you must make trading your own, you need to develop your own method, practice looking for it, ...

SimpleDev replied Nov 25, 2013Testing supply. Those tests were testing for supply in the wide spread up bar in London. EU was still bullish from the buying that occurred on Nov 20th. No, before price makes a push up and through resistance, it should test the support level below ...

SimpleDev replied Nov 24, 2013Point of Control is the price level where the most volume occurred from the previous day. Never really was my thing, if I am not mistaken that falls into Action Market Theory. Here is a thread for AMT. url

SimpleDev replied Nov 22, 2013Was a tough spot today on EU, looked to be big supply coming in during London. But every time price came back down to the close of the supply bar (also R1 pivot level) the price level was tested. Finally after pushing up through the high of the ...

SimpleDev replied Nov 22, 2013Well no one can say that you haven't done your reading.
Feel free to ask any questions and/or post any views you may have. No it doesn't matter, it only matters that the NS/ND has lower volume than the previous two bars.vsa with Malcolm

SimpleDev replied Nov 20, 2013Thanks, good information, I will keep this in mind. I was looking to make a confirmation on price specifically testing the close, but it sounds like I would be limiting myself. I know the market is not perfect so areas will be more realistic. Good ...

SimpleDev replied Nov 18, 2013Seems like a viable confirmation, here is an example from Asia, a hidden test just above the close from the SOS.

SimpleDev replied Nov 18, 2013A test is a down bar, a hidden test is an up bar. Both are doing the same thing, check to see if sellers have been removed. You have millions of dollars being traded by multiple people/institutions so you won't always see a perfect NS/ND/Test.

SimpleDev replied Nov 18, 2013Not really.. The point is we are looking to see how price reacts to the SOS or SOW. The SOS/SOW gives us a good idea if a pair is being bought or sold. The NS/ND/Test is the reaction to the SOS/SOW and confirming whether it was bought or sold. So in ...

SimpleDev replied Nov 17, 2013Focus less on the tests and more on the background, background being your SOS/SOW. NS/ND/Tests are only entry bars, they don't make a market weak or strong they only give you a place to put an order. But to answer your question you will know that a ...

SimpleDev replied Nov 17, 2013I have been thinking about this chart this weekend, a good example for trigger numbers. Using the close of the potential selling bar as a trigger number price was never able to dip below it, there was a low volume up thrust I marked in blue that ...
