Madinvestor replied Sep 11, 2021I don't trade the daily, but I just use price action and market structure. If I did, I would trade it the same way. I would use the monthly to analyze the price level and enter on the daily/4h tf.

Madinvestor replied May 27, 2019I trade them all. Every possible pair. I only trade daily time frame though, so I need more options as my setups don't occur for months or years on a single pair. If you have a more repetitive setup, you can get away with trading one or 2 pairs. It ...

Madinvestor replied Apr 25, 2019Absolutely you can! In fact, it can be best that way. There are traders that have patterns that only occur a couple times a year and that's all they need to profit. It's not quantity in the market, it's quality.

Madinvestor replied Mar 5, 2018I see your basic point that you want to focus on the art of trading vs the profit from it. I respect that. I guess it always just seemed to me like people had something to hide in masking the balance (maybe not in your case). I think the other ...

Madinvestor replied Mar 5, 2018Yeah thanks. This is what remains of an account I actually almost blew up. I am experimenting with a strategy right now that, like you said, trades all pairs. I am not sure if it will end that way, but I am seeing what works and what does not at the ...

Madinvestor replied Mar 1, 2018I don’t agree with this. Not all trading strategies can be automated but that doesn’t mean that they can’t work. Forward testing through demo or small live accounts can still be very effective even if it takes longer.

Madinvestor replied Jan 23, 2018FA can definitely work in the short term as well, but I just mean it's generally less effective as short term strategy because typically time is a large factor in letting a fundamental prediction unfold. That's why you won't find any day traders ...

Madinvestor replied Jan 23, 2018The reason for this is because TA is generally more effective as a short term strategy. For the long term, fundamentals are superior. Because large fund managers cannot dart in and out of stocks like this, TA is generally less useful to them. They ...

Madinvestor replied Jan 22, 2018That would suck if it were true. I won't spend my time worrying about it though. Besides, if you are a great trader, any liquid market can be traded. There's always stocks, futures, options, etc. '

Madinvestor replied Jan 22, 2018The only real difference between TA and FA is that one looks at trends in price and latter observes trends in financial reports and earnings. Any study of trends will be correct sometimes. They both work, just not all the time.
