Fundamentally Gold was meant to move in both direction because of mixed data. However, even looking at NFP and Core retail sales which are the main data movers they favored USD but Gold is still moving up. I don't understand today's movements.

According to institutional players 5000 is the target this year but it might go higher If the US shutdown continues.

Gold Pip Value has increased tremendously. Even my 50-70 pip stop loss looks like child's play. Had to also reduce my risk so as to not amplify my losses.

The dollar index is pushing high agrressively. All USD designated pairs are reacting to this. GU,EU falling USDCAD and USDJPY climbing. Problem is i cannot see any dollar related news.

From yesterday Daily HTF has been bullish. From 15min LTF the bullish structured is yet to be changed from Asian session by the London session. Price is now challenging a swap zone. IF it's broken i forsee a bullish continuation with bearish moves ...
