I mostly agree that what you say is a possibility and I also believe Gold could drop heavily in the next few months, but we should get a healthy bounce before all that to around the 4200 - 4250 level.

This may be the channel in play here (Blue), The Green horizontal line at 3721 is the 61.8% Fib retracement of the upswing from 3305 to 4382. This could easily retrace to the 3721 level or lower before moving up again.
