Forex is only real due to our different trading approach to the market. Generally I think forex market has not changed and will not. Identify your trade pattern, improve it and keep improving it profitably.

Demo and lotsssssss of backtesting is advised for new traders. Finding an honest broker is also important. My advise is Backtest manually till you are convinced, demo till you are confident and then repeat same strategy on a live account.
