Hi Oldtraderman, May I ask to what extent do you think past results (either demo/testing or live trading) could represent future performance? And if it's true as they said, past results don't guarantee future success, then how should a trader ...

Hi Oldtraderman, With the increasingly proportion of trades made by machines, do you think it will change the human-driven, herd-mentality nature of market so that there will be less and less repeatable patterns on the chart? Of course there is ...

Hi Oldtraderman, Why didn't you get out of the trade immediately after you realized you had made a (clear) mistake, instead of staying until the end? If price faltered around 300 for 1 more minute or 2 (instead of immediately jumping up to reach the ...

Hi Oldtraderman, I have some questions to ask: - Regarding the option to make suitable adjustments of a method, how do you manage to avoid being sloppy and inconsistent? How do traders know that he hasn't crossed the line, because it might happen ...

Hi Oldtraderman, May I ask why are there 2 trades you have results +0.5R? Maybe this is something you've rarely mentioned in your journal but did you take profits early? Was it a mistake or was it in your plan? Have a good week end.

This is why honesty is one thing a trader must demand himself the most. Results may vary at the end of the day, but the trader must not cheat himself on his process.

Hi Oldtraderman, Regarding risk and risk management, if I'm being correct you've mentioned earlier that even if the worst possible thing happened in the world in the next minute, your trading accounts would still just be fine. Could you give more ...

Spreads're very good, as good as FTMO if i'm being correct. Lux's broker is GlobalPrime. you can go to GP website and check their spreads & commissions (can also open demo account)
- diamond1011 replied Sep 29, 2021
LUX looks like a real deal but leverage is just 1:10, mostly the same conservative approach as 5ers. FTMO and MFF are also worth a try if you prefer their "aggressive" approaches.

Can't be more true. Some guys just take it too far, too personal, and defend their opinions like some soccer fans defend their favorite teams

At this moment, US session 27th Sep 2021, FTMO eur/usd spread 0.1-0.3 MFF Eur/usd spread 0.7-0.8, that is 350%. (180-200% is just my estimation because I have not checked all the pairs). Below is the screenshot eurusd.

Totally agree. One thing I just couldn't understand is that all the guys talking about MFF enroll fees are cheaper than FTMO's fees, 8% vs. 10% profit target...but no one talks about spreads, spreads on MFF are almost 180%-200% higher than spreads ...

Hi Oldtraderman, If you could change one thing in your execution today, what would it be? Would it be more brave to take a trade at the first rollover at 80 level or be more cautious with the short at 43?

Hi Oldtraderman, Welcome back! I've been thinking lately that trading is full of fine lines and balances. A trader must be flexible with his strategy, but not too flexible to shoot random trades, must be calm after a losing trade but not to be ...

Your posts this month added 'the Ugly' part - a very important part - to the picture, therefore the picture is quite complete now. Maybe because at your state of experience the ugly thing happens less often, then we have to wait for many weeks ...

I usually beat myself up a lot when I have a net loss in a strong momentum market because I think as a momentum following trader I must make profits in a strong trending market, that I can't afford to lose in that favorable condition. Your ...

Hi OTM, My broker offers 1 point spread for the DE30, i.e. if bid price is 14000.50 then ask price is 14001.50, if I want to buy DE30 at 14000.50 my order will get filled at 14001.50, and vice versa when I want to sell . How many points are the ...

Hi Oldtraderman, I also quit today with -1R loss and was disappointed because I felt I should wait for market to move in clear direction before taking my trades. At first I felt I made that mistake of jumping in early because lacking of experience ...

Hi Oldtraderman, May I ask why do you believe that there is a chance for a trader to make profits consistently on the market or even has a chance to make trading to be a source of income, given the nature of the market is uncertain, random and ...
