Unfortunately I don't know if there is any API for that, it just parses HTML data. That would be great to have forex historic "news" data (past economic calendar events), I need that for another project to backtest things, that is how I started to ...

I like that logic, EMAs are so simple but so helpful. Keep going. I know a top gold trader (according to ForexFactory statistics) seems to trade in a similar manner as well. and great balance growth.

This pair used to move almost like GOLD. Weird when did it lose this ability. Correlation is not always there. However I like the pair for stable pips recently.

I love XM but they limit number of demo accounts and I don't seem to find a way to reset demo accounts :-( I need a lot of testing before using EAs. So I need a way to reset demo accounts on XM. Can anyone help?

I have been trading in a similar way, moving averages are simple but can do wonders , also longer time frame lets you filter all garbage indicator and news information. Thought writing an EA but manual trading was more than enough since longer TF

Probably old post but I have recently did some weekend coding. Wrote a GAP indicator, It has an alert feature . So make sure you use a good tolerance level not to get alerts too often. Feel free to modify if you need changes. file file
