I am keeping an eye on it. I do think you're right with this one. All this debt fuelled growth from low interest, something's got to give eventually! A friend of my thinks dow 14K is on the cards.

sorry for not responding to your post. Had a chaotic couple of weeks with family being in hospital, job interviews and legal problems so haven't touched on trading for some time. Your system looks very similar to the one I have been using, HA ...

That's exactly it. Threads like this aren't pointless. They serve as good motivation for people losing hope. This thread really helped me realise what is possible and to not be put off by all the negativity you get on FF. It got me out of a dark ...

I have the same view towards the Dow and all indices, been waiting for a top to form for a while now. Hoping to be able to catch a massive move down sometime this year. Been riding the trend upwards in the mean time. I think fundamentally we really ...

What do you mean, close my positions and walk away? If I do that I often cut myself short. Was up nearly 50% at one point so would be mad at myself for closing at 20-30%. Those positions could go on a lot further too so I generally don't just close ...

I definitely appreciate that fact. With a higher sample size of trades its more likely to be profitable within a smaller period. Numbers game after all... I typically take 30-50 trades a month. I just found while although being profitable by the end ...

Thanks for your reply. I'm not losing money from large trades, I risk 2% max per trade and usually lock in profits when I can by moving SL into profit. The losses usually come from new positions getting stopped out, but arent always in one chunk. I ...

Hmm this seems very unusual. I've always had a lot of respect for Jason Stapleton. This seems very unlike him. Reading that text to seems he was unaware that Carney was even trying to contact him. If he selling someones system as his own and making ...

You should really aim a bit higher than that man, 5% PA? You get that in a bank or with an ISA... Read this thread: url Some of the guys in there were making 20%+ a week.... consistently...

I've never understood what the problem is with high leverage. If you have a small account, just trade smaller positions? Doesnt matter what your leverage is. If you get stopped out and you risked 2%, then you lose 2% regardless of what your leverage ...

Hey Pip-Miner, Please forgive my ignorance but what is your pyramid technique that your using? Sounds pretty good for buying up dips! I am currently long gold but I usually wait for 4HR pullbacks to add my positions...

As gets said a lot, the market can never be too high or too low, overbought might be the case but doesn't mean it can't keep on going. I'm still bullish on gold so will just follow the trend which looks up the moment so I've just been buying ...

Yeah not that volatile that moment. I guess there is a lot of indecision waiting for Draghi to speak on the 10th.
