IBFX (I think you can only go live with mini accounts on MT4 right now) allows you to trade in .01 increments with MT4. SFBX may be the same way, although I'm not sure if they're live with MT4 yet. Standard account 1 lot = $100,000 = $10/pip .1 lots ...

Just to add to this, make sure they offer micro lots on their mini accounts. Standard account: 1 micro = $0.10/pip Mini account: 1 micro = $0.01/pip Increase the number of micros you trade until a stop out would hurt (just a little). If you're ...

I just reread your post and maybe I'm misunderstanding. If I have an Interest Paying account at FXCM are you saying that I won't earn the positive interest when I'm long aud/jpy? Ok, I just read your reply too. I get it now. Thanks.

I don't understand. As an example: Account 1 is in my name: Interest Free (I fill out the interest-free form) Account 2 is in my whoever's name: Interest Paying. (Doesn't fill out the interest-free form) My name is not on both of them. They are 2 ...

Micheal, I'm not thinking of subaccounts as those would both have to be interest-free or interest paying. I'm talking about having 2 totally separate accounts. As far as FXCM is concerned, they are from 2 people in different parts of the world (even ...

Dave, That's a really amazing idea. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that the larger the block size, the higher the margin level we'd be able to use once we were fully in. So, if you choose a block size of 200, or as ES said, splitting ...

Keris, I replied...but your name is up there....the PF screws up quoting... FXCM allows subaccounts in the same name and it can take up to 24 hrs to complete the transfers as long as they are both interest free ...at Oanda subaccount transfer are as ...

I was wondering the same thing, although the Vegas doc does suggest choosing a unit size and then trading 3 units (or 1 1/2). I think this is the wrong way of describing it, as it implies that you determine your position size and them multiply it by ...

I think Volan is referring to the position sizing aspect of the 8/55 cross. When the 8 crosses the 55 and turns, take a full position. When the 8 turns without having crossed the 55, take 1/2 position.

I added the 55 sma to my above pic as well as the 233 hma, which I tend to think keeps us small during ranging markets. I don't know that replacing the 55 sma with the 233 hma will better, it's just something I've been playing with. I also added 2 ...

I have a copy of JMA for MT4, but it's not an official version. Officially they don't make one for mt4. I believe they sell a dll that's supposted to work with MT. The mq4 file that I have is supposed to be based off of the original source and from ...

Well, I'm only on page 12 of this thread but I took a quick look at the 1hr Euro chart just to see how easily these ideas "pop" out. I know I don't have pivots, MAs, or fibs on the chart, but after about 30 seconds worth of scanning the chart 3 ...

Hi all, I've been a member here for a while, but I don't think I've ever posted. I post a lot at other forums and just never quite got around to FF very often. Wow, was that a mistake. You guys are great. I've been interested in the Vegas method for ...
