If we are trading in the US with a 1:50 leverage limit, what position size/risk should we use? I know you have a lot of trades open at one time. Is it possible to set the trade copier to lower lot size for large SL?

Did you take any more trades this week, Clifton?

Thanks. The three to five bars is the key; otherwise I wasn't clear on why you chose that bar. That's what I was missing. Thanks for bearing with me. Since the demand level doesn't have to be retested again for it to be a valid demand level, what do ...

Yes I did mean support. Thanks so much, but I'm clearly still missing something. The high volume up bar in the second setup was a few bars before the lower volume up bar that you mark as creating the "new demand line." Also the new demand level is ...

dddd, i see you are back in action. what's this method -- is it entirely different from hector? do you have an explanation somewhere so i can understand the setup? i've looked but can't find a description of the setup to understand the charts. thanks ...

Clifton, so glad you are back in action....this thread has been one of my favorites and was afraid it was finished. For the second, "new demand line" in the image, how do you know its a valid demand line, when it seems to have only acted as ...

Given the amount of utter crap that is out there, if you are offering a serious trading room that is actually profitable, I am sure you will get a very large number of people as word gets out. I think people are just naturally skeptical having spent ...

mr. dddd, did you close at 1:3 rr or hold for more?
- aw714 replied Aug 8, 2011
Good enough for me Mr. dddd--you da man! Good sense of humor too

Clifton, What confirmed the entry for you after the shakeout? Thanks.
- aw714 replied Aug 7, 2011
of course i imagine you get stopped out more than once a week, but with such insane R:R it must be better than just having much bigger stops (or you would trade that way) and you probably are profitable most months
- aw714 replied Aug 7, 2011
what do you mean by noise? also this week you only had one loss i think -- and the R:R on the other winners was quite high
- aw714 replied Aug 7, 2011
The risk reward on your modified hectors are unreal -- i didn't think that kind of R:R was possible.
- aw714 replied Aug 6, 2011
Dddd, Don't let others discourage you -- your examples show that this method is robust. Is there always at least some trending currency pairs to trade using this modified Hector method? Or some months are all currencies are ranging, then what method ...

DDDD, any idea why hector doesn't post videos anymore--not for over three years? I wonder what happened and if he still trades this method.
- aw714 replied Aug 1, 2011
Thanks for answering my question. I also see you've divided up the different methods into separate threads. Are these the methods you mainly use to trade -- because the RR is great, but it seems like you don't get mainly trades from these signals?
- aw714 replied Aug 1, 2011
Really great thread -- I love methods with high R:R and know how rare they are. Is this the main method you trade everyday (modified Hector) because you seem to have detailed performance info on it? Do you get setups each day? What is a bpc? Thanks ...

HG, I've noticed that you mainly show examples from the ES. I've read elsewhere you've shifted mainly over to the ES because you find forex volume unreliable now. I was hoping you could post some examples based on Karthik's bars on forex because it ...

I hope you don't get discouraged by stupid comments, I really want to learn from your thread. There are too few threads by successful traders on this forum.

Thanks for the explanation. How do you filter the bars? --because otherwise it seems like a control bar is just the same as a wide range bar.
