The fact that everyone is going in different directions just shows what a bunch of great traders were all are hey.

Well I just entered a short at 1.9850, with a TP at 1.9750. See what happens eh.
- turbo_electric replied May 24, 2007
I bet you the Cable drops at least a hundred pips within the next couple of days. I'm looking for a 1.9750 by Tuesday at the latest, although it could happen much sooner.

This FX5 indicator is weird. I think it repaints. It will give the buy/sell signal after the candle moves down, but you will see the arrow pointing on the candle prior to it's downward movement, because it will appear out of nowhere!

Yeah, I agree, Swissy definitely looks like a buy, but then why hasn't the FX5 Indicator given a green buy arrow yet?
- turbo_electric replied May 5, 2007
Who cares about the lines man. I'm talking about the red/green sell/buy arrows in the bottom indicator window. They give some false signals, but on many occassions they're right. It's a question of filtering the false signls.

Yeah, he's mistaken. Not sure about the Swissy, but the latest EUR/USD signal from FX_Divergence is definitely a long.

I've noticed the same thing. Whoever developed this indicator is a genius. The FX5 Divergence Indicator is amazing. Very impressed. It's better at predicting reversals than Stochastics! I really think if this indicator is used in conjuction with ...

This script is indeed excellent. The only problem is, on many occassions, the deviation isn't large enough, and hence our buy/sell stop might just be touched, only for the price to quickly reverse, and thus getting stopped out. This has happened to ...

Anyone know how much is the licensed version?
- turbo_electric replied Apr 23, 2007
Exactly my point. This indicator repaints. So for example, if the market is choppy, and you adhered strictly to the fibocalc rules, it will kill you. Also, it DOES show a TP of a couple of pips at market opening Lavon, so stop saying whatever, I'll ...
- turbo_electric replied Apr 7, 2007
You being serious? At market opening, i.e. GMT 00:00, the indicator shows a TP level of just 2 pips!

Hi Stockwet, Thanks for the great EA. I am currently testing this EA on demo, and when I place a MaxLoss of (for example) 10 (i.e. 10pips SL), and watch the price action reach that, then nothing it happens. It just keeps going without closing. Am I ...
- turbo_electric replied Apr 2, 2007
yep, this indicator repaints itself, therefore it is crap.

I placed a short just before market closed on Friday night. Let's hope there's a gap hey!

I have a strong feeling the cable is gonna retrace as soon as the market opens, and it should reach at least 1.9600 within the first few hours.

Ah well. Bring on April.

BK, Found out the problem. Trading too many lots. Even though I was risking 3% of my account with a tight SL, broker said I was investing too many lots. So I cut down on the lots, and yeah, it worked. Shit Japan news though. So many reports, hardly ...
- turbo_electric replied Mar 29, 2007
Yep, precisely what happened to me. Check your comments to see if it says, "cancelled by dealer." It works fine in demo mode. In fact, it works fine live, outside news hours as well. It's just like 1 sec before the news, or 1 pip from being filled, ...

Dude, my broker aint North Finance. It's UGMFX. Plus, I was only risking at most 4% of my account. Just asked them. See what they say. There's nothing in the contract about not allowing news trading. Also, this is part of an email I received from ...
