Hi pips4life. Responding to your post #5512, I hope it's OK to interleave my notes with your comments, which are asterisked. * Thanks for taking the time to write up such a detailed explanation. I've learned so much from everyone on this forum, and ...

Here's an idea I emailed to Tim Morge a year ago. As far as I know, there has been nothing published on the interaction between pitchfork anchor points and Fibonacci retracement levels. This idea came after testing the many ways that Dr. Andrews and ...

That's fine. This is an indi, not an EA. I think I can solve the problem another way - not nearly as elegant, but usable. Regardless, your SA indi and rainbow have been a real boon for me. I'm grateful for your expertise and patience.

I simplified the indi to test just the M5 code. You are right. The prd, At3 and Bt3 have to be as you said, for example: TF=5, At3=20 and Bt3=35. I leave hot at 1.2. The problem is that my 5m row of lights (based on trxfastcurr5) displays correctly ...

SwissArmy question — MissPips: I've been working with one of those code fragments that you so kindly provided. This indicator checks if the 1M through 30M fast Trix are in agreement. The resulting lights don't match up with the mode 1 lights ...

If you would consider that feature for a future revision, it would be very useful. On a different note, I've found that I hear alerts only if they are enabled on one copy of the SwissArmy indi. Enabling alerts on a second copy seems to mute both ...

SwissArmy question — MissPips: Have you ever considered specifying a second WAV file that would play when the score _decreases_, or alternatively, a switch to mute decreasing scores? I use the alerts to see if the criteria for an entry are ...

Miss Pips: Thanks for the snippets. Your indi has already simplified my setup a lot. I wish you every success!

If you have code snippets available, that might speed up the learning curve a lot! I can code basic indicator functions OK, but always figured doing an EA would be more complex.

I load it one extra time in each of the lower two windows to get that last M60 light. Hmmm... I see the problem with the 5 lights. I just remembered that I once read about a program that will read MT4 indicators by their screen position. That is, if ...

Wow, that's a kind offer! What I have now is three indi windows. Each one contains your SwissArmy indi. The first window watches M1,M5,M15 and M30, set to mode 18 only. The second window runs your indi twice, to display 5 lights: M1 to M60. All ...

Combining Swiss Army alarms? — Miss Pips: Thanks for the response. I checked the other alerts available on this thread, but only yours has the modes and other features that I need. I was hoping to add simple code to one of my other indis to ...

Combining Swiss Army alarms? — MissPips - Many thanks for all your hard work. I've been testing SwissArmy v4.21 to confirm entry points. ePeriod=18 has really simplified a process I had to do visually! My current setup loads the SwissArmy indi ...

Different VSA display — Just wanted to share the indi I've been working on. My goal is to be able to read VS action like music. What you're looking at: 1. In the indicator window, black histo is MT4 volume with a dark 20 SMA. The wide grey ...

VSA bar question — Hello all - my first post on FF. Many thanks for the great info presented on this thread. Can anyone point me to a simple bar indicator that displays only High-Low-Close, and can be set to different thicknesses? The default ...
