I agree with Ron on this one. The point of using mtf methods is to establish the trend and then enter on a lower tf. So if you are going to use the mtf qqe on the 1 min chart with a smoothing of 60 and tf set on the 5 min chart, you would then use ...

Spud, thanks for the time and effort involved in explaining you system. I was wondering what % of trades, do you estimate, are winners? Also, how many trades do you experience during a session?
- Bradev replied Oct 31, 2008
Nice simple system. But what setting is you qqe set to. It is obviously not the default setting (smoothing 5).

A very good safe signal came just after the US session open and we now have a high probable signal.

You pretty much have it other than all the forexfreedom bars all having to match. The top one that I have on my charts is the 60 min. The 60 min CCI or bars don't matter at all for this method. Atleast I don't use or look to confirm there at all. ...

As for Stops and TP, I use a stop of 15 pips and I take half my trade out at +10 and then let the other half ride using a manual trail of about 15 pips. I trade the EURUSD pair only at the moment but the system should work on almost any pair because ...

Ok here is the same time frame with the other stoch deleted so you can compare and see that they are the same.
- Bradev replied Oct 1, 2008
Sorry, that stoch is one that I was using on something else and you can't see it. The colors are at none. Had it mirroring an alert. Just haven't deleted it yet. I assure you the one I have showing on my chart is the 5/3/3. I could post another ...

I understand what you are saying but I would never use the 60 min on this method unless the 30 agreed. But then you are just relying on the 30 anyway. So I would just rely on the 15 and the 30. Usually pretty safe to take a trade based on the 30.

Here is a good setup based on the 30 min CCI. See how the stoch went above the 80 line and has crossed back down while the 30 CCI is below zero line.
- Bradev replied Oct 1, 2008
Here is a couple of examples of high probability trades. The stochastic on both trades came above the 50 line and turned back down all while the CCI on both the 15 and the 30 was below the zero line. The second trade is still up in the air as to its ...

Thank you for your help! This will prove to be very useful.
- Bradev replied Oct 1, 2008
Hi Ronald, thanks for you interrest. Yes if you are looking for a long, and the stoch drops below the 20 line, then turns and is coming up from below 20 line, the perfect setup would still have the CCI above 0. And generally a new signal will not ...

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I have fixed it now and I apoligize for making a simple mistake.

The best times to trade this method is between the hours of 06:00 and 18:00 gmt. This method is stong enough for some to justify using outside of these hours but is most profitable when traded during higher volume.

PQ, sounds like you are doing well. Good job. What time frames are you using and are you only trading the EJ?
- Bradev replied Sep 2, 2008
JD, when you are entering a trade using the 4hr stoch, do you wait for the 4hr candle to close to confirm the direction of the stoch and then look for an entry on the 15m and 30 min?
