First two trades today have panned out well First, CADJPY, short run from the S1 pivot (which isn't shown on the chart) to the ADR low image USDCAD, another short blast after break and rejection of YH, retrace into EMA channel, up to the ADR ...

Nice post, I like how you have broken it down. I need to work on making sure I define trends myself, and have also been trying to wait for channels and areas of resistance to be broken and tested before entry.

Thanks. I've read the whole thread - I'll go back and revisit that part! There's a lot to take in

Second trade of day. V Small win. Got out when price closed outside of EMA channel. There was a previous spike that I should have closed at. image

No worries! That's one the hardest things to get used to for me - taking longs after price has gone down into the EMA... Seems unnatural

Hi, thanks If I dial out to the hourly chart, I can see resistance at ~0.9636... Is this what you are referring too? Guess I didn't look that far out.

Hi Aud, Thanks for your comment It may not be clear on how I have annotated the chart, but I entered just before the break of the trendline, on a rejection of the trendline. The next bar broke the trendline for the first time. Unless you mean ...

Hi Mike, Thanks for your post! Got a few questions if you have a minute? You say you moved your stop as soon as the trade got triggered. In this case, what is the point of having a stop under the BEOB ( where I assume it was ) in the first instance? ...

I'm never going near the CHF pairs again - can't trust the Swiss bankers!

I put in a limit buy on this one and has been triggered - bit nervous about this one as the AUD was acting crazy yesterday. So, I'm already at BE - only want to stay in this one if it goes - can't be done with it messing me around for a few days ...

Thanks Mike, really good to hear your take on this aspect of trading - The long game isn't discussed very often on forums!

So that works at just under 2% per month, which if you trade with 2% of your account as risk per trade, then getting that great return of 20% per year doesn't seem so unattainable! It's as you always say, slow and steady

Hey Ontoast, Silver tanked! Sorry to see you were triggered, but some useful words from others here re. bid and ask. Always useful to set you stops a good few pips beyond the price marked by the highs and lows of the PA signal - that way you only ...

He's not being funny. There is a site where one can start an official petition and I think if you get past a certain threshold, it may be 100000 but I'd have to check, the issue had to be discussed in parliament. The FCA is a government body, so may ...
