Both Gold and Silver are getting pummelled, I'm not sure why yet apart from profit taking but the magnitude of the drop in Silver is quite large.

Finally a break of 55. I had to lose an sum equal to what I made today to catch it. Is this the start of a bit of a downtrend? It's been a long time coming and the daily looks very bearish. Especially after today.

woops i wasnt paying attention there. It looks like we may have a direction for the next couple of days. 65 next barrier?

meh my pedantic style made me hold out for a price 30c lower and as a result i missed this promising breakout.

i took the small drop this morning with a rather shoddy entry so i got a rubbish ROI on it. The bounce at 86 felt a little premature. I was expecting a point lower, it is now time to decide if I look for a long or expect a breakout lower. A rally ...

Well that's that. Everytime I try to use a wide stop I get fucked inside 2 hours. I've done something so wrong this week, some of the decisions have been so poor I don't know how to reconcile with it.

I couldn't agree more. Alot of things that traders use feel pseudoscientific. I find that using things like elliot wave and sometimes fib levels that I'm simply retrofitting. Ok so The big number today came out worse than expected, so far been as ...

Although I hate trading in them, these twisting storms in the price action are fun to watch play out.

and with that massive pinbar on 5M my stop is now at 34.7, if it breaks it should provide a better buying opportunity.

yeah its wierd. I cut my long in two parts for an average of a 1.5 point loss, no biggie. The 'drop, check' move was quite obvious. Im waiting for XAU to stop acting like a petulant child. In the mean time i'm waiting for vodaphone to tank.

OK. After a day of crazy voltility we are perched on a trendline once again. A break of 38 or there abouts will call into question a move higher in the coming session. I suppose the plan is to make nice entries with stops in that area to look for a ...

my entry was 40, stop was 31. The spike down just caught it. I rally from here, which now looks like a reasonable possibility will really burn. It's these really volatile days that are the problem. I usually do just fine with a 5 point stop. Drawing ...

I actually had a massive stop at where the price stopped in that spike hence my large losses. I'm forgetting it for the day, my mindset is not right. There's always an opportunity around the corner. I'll go back to grinding when teh next setup ...

Well, that's that. The downward spike stopped me out for a huge loss (to a poor boy like me) that is about 4 weeks of work wiped out in 48 hours. I truly suck sometimes.

I'm so over-exposed, I'm having one of my self-destructive days where I blow all profits in one go. This is why I'm a break-even/ slight losing trader. I hope this works out so I can fight to live another day.
