Fair enough mate.

Why short? Far easier to just sit tight long IMO. If it dips to 1300, add more. If it dips further to 1295, get out I guess, re-evaluate. You seem to be long and short at the same time; but I guess you're an experienced guy who knows what he's doing. ...

Agree with you on riding this higher but I'm going to give it longer than Friday as regards "allotted correction time". Anyway, the longer it takes the better for me as I'm playing it with short options as well as longs in the underlying.

On the one hand, don't trade the news. On the other hand, don't trade the news. I think it goes higher (in time), but whether they want to shake the tree a bit first over the coming days and weeks is impossible to know. I wouldn't be surprised ...

Closed short from 1356. Too early? Maybe but $4k is $4k, there's a shitstorm brewing it's possible gold is gonna find a bid sometime soon.

Back to trend on gold, selling rallies; this leg has all along been suspected by many (myself included) as just another bear market rally taking the form of a big ol' bear flag; a good one nonetheless for those on the right side of it. There's good ...

Hey there XT. Hope you're doing well. Beyond 1180, we'll see, but I wouldn't be surprised to see like you say 1050. But no crystal balls here. Cheers geezer.

I think the probability it heads down to 1180 is quite high.

How many "opportunities" have there been for "discounted" gold and silver since $1900 / $48? How many more "opportunities" will we see?

I think you're dreaming thinking you're going to see 1300. More likely sub 1200. 1300 may come in January or sometime next year but nobody knows; the chart at the moment is suggesting a high risk for a double bottom test of 1175 before the next move ...

What part of the following is stated as though it is a fact? Really, I just get fed up with people not reading what I have written.

Don't forget to shut the door on your way out.

It seems you can say what you like about gold, just don't say anything bearish eh. As to sticking to what the charts show, I have this to say: Did the charts show you that gold was going to get eviscerated when it was at $1900?

You seem to be quite emotional about this. Are you? SA=seekingalpha.com

Have you seen the chart, like, in the last year? Aside from that, I'm just voicing an opinion based on my assessment of where the global economy goes from here. There are other things, but, eh, I'm not going to write an essay. People do that over on ...

Fair comment. Average investor is probably either the wrong term or too imprecise a term. Let's say, the average investor who cares about and has an opinion on the directional bias of the price of gold. I am aware one of the standing arguments ...
