Uranium Fundamentals Strengthen Beneath the Market Noise
Uranium entered mid-year with a stronger fundamental backdrop than market performance would suggest, as rising long-term prices, improving policy support, growing electricity demand and constrained supply continued to reinforce the investment case despite disappointing short-term returns across uranium mining equities. The first half of the year was characterized by a widening, and somewhat frustrating, disconnect between uranium market fundamentals and price performance.
