Germany's services firms recorded a third straight monthly decrease in business activity in June, with weak demand continuing to weigh on the sector, the latest PMI® survey results showed. The pace of contraction in activity did however slow slightly, with the same also applying to the rate of job losses. Notably, there was a sharp slowdown in the rate of input price inflation across the service economy at the end of the second quarter, which allowed for a weaker rate of increase in prices charged.
