Pearson gold heist suspect hit with 13-year sentence in U.S. for gun smuggling
A Brampton man who was charged in the largest gold heist in Canadian history has been sentenced in Pennsylvania to more than 13 years in prison for conspiring to smuggle 65 handguns into Canada. Durante King-Mclean, 27, was sentenced in a Harrisburg, Penn. courtroom on Tuesday to 160 months in prison after pleading guilty to conspiring to smuggle the weapons north from Florida. “Firearms trafficking is a serious crime that puts guns in the hands of the criminals that terrorize our communities in the United States and Canada,” Eric J.
