Manufacturing production decreased by 2,9% in April 2026 compared with April 2025. The largest negative contributions were made by the following divisions: • basic iron and steel, non-ferrous metal products, metal products and machinery (-6,0% and contributing -1,4 percentage points); • wood and wood products, paper, publishing and printing (-10,0% and contributing -1,0 percentage point); and • motor vehicles, parts and accessories and other transport equipment (-11,0% and contributing -0,9 of a percentage point) – see Table 5 and Table 6.
